Juozas Belickas

MD, PhD Orthopaedist Traumatologist

„People consult an Orthopedist-traumatologist when they are in pain or feel movement and support function issues. The capabilities of orthopaedic field grow each year, as implant and medical tool producing companies develop better and more innovative equipment. Things, which seemed impossible a couple of years ago, become reality and adapt to everyday treatment. For this reason, I cannot imagine my profession without constant learning and acquiring new qualifications. However, the patients must understand that medicine is not almighty, and there are still problems that are beyond doctor’s capabilities. Mutual trust, open and detailed conversation is necessary to discuss possible ways of treatment, expected results and possible consequences. My work credo: “Treat patients sincerely, be specific and precise, and complete your tasks professionally.”
